Ore

Electrolytic Manganese 99.7%

Manganese ore is subjected to acid leaching to extract manganese salts, which are then separated into pure metallic manganese through an electrolytic cell. The appearance is similar to iron, with an irregular flake shape. It is hard but brittle, with one side smooth and shiny, and the other rough. Its color ranges from silver-white to brownish. When processed into powder, it turns silver-gray. It is prone to oxidation in air and dissolves in dilute acids, releasing hydrogen gas. Additionally, in slightly elevated temperatures, it can decompose water and generate hydrogen gas.
