Low Carbon Silico-Manganese

Silicon Manganese is an alloy composed of iron and manganese, with additional elements such as silicon, carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, and phosphorus. Its primary use is as a processed source of manganese, which is added to various types of steel, such as stainless steel. According to statistics, in 2010, global production of low-carbon silicon manganese (alloy with carbon content below 2%) reached 1.5 million tons.
